    give my appreciation to him.

Do you say "appreciation" as well to express your gratefulness to someone else? Appreciation has various meanings of "understand, recognize, perceive" so it might be confusing which one it means, but I'd like to know if it's used commonly.

ex)A: When I meet him, I will thank him for his kindness.
B: Give my thanks(appreciation) to him, too

It would be better if you just said, " I appreciate your help/efforts.advice".

If this has helped, you can show your appreciation by sending me a bottle of expensive whiskey, or you can send me the bottle (or two bottles!) in appreciation of my help etc, but you don't normally *give your appreciation.
