    keyed to

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind to give me your considered opinion concerning the interpretations of the expression in bold in the following sentences?

We were keyed for the big game.

Our plants are keyed to producing civilian aircraft.

They are keyed to the needs of our armed forces.

keyed to = designated, destined, eligible, apposite

keyed to = psychological prepared for
