    Joining of sentences

Peter likes to sing. She does not like any other activities.

In joining the above sentence, I have done so as follows:

Peter does not like any (other) activities except singing.

But I am not sure whether I should include 'other' although I feel that I shouldn't.

    Thanks.

"Peter does not like any (other) activities except singing" is completely correct and makes sense. There's nothing wrong with it.

Maybe it is a last name. My name is Fiona Peter (well, not really).

Original sentence: Peter likes to sing. She does not like any other activities.

Transformed version: Peter does not like any (other) activities except singing"

Does it mean that 'other' is needed? Just to clarify. Thanks.

"Peters" is not an uncommon last name. "Peter" would be.

"Peter" should have a male pronoun. It was a simple mistake.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Re: Joining of sentences

Thanks for all of you who have responded to my post. However, I would like to know which of the following joined sentence is correct. Thanks.

Peter likes to sing. She does not like any other activities.

In joining the above sentence, I have done so as follows:

    1. Peter does not like any other activities except singing.

    2. Peter does not like any activities except singing.

Is 'other' needed as in sentence 1?
