    ridding and boating?

    We did ridding/horse-ridding on mountains.
    We had a ride on horse on mountains.
    and
    We did boating in lake.
    We had boating in lake.
    Are the above sentences correct?

    No, try these:
    We went horse riding in the mountains.
    We went horse riding on the mountain.
    We went boating on the lake.
