    Yes, I do.
    I don't like the expanation in a dictionary. It doesn't give me a clear idea of the meaning. I want put it in simple words.

    endeavour: (n.) attempt.
    From The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Current English, sixth edition, fourth impression 1977 (with corrections)

    Also:
