    shimmer or dazzle?

    shimmer is the answer, but is "dazzle" awkward in this sentence?

    Q. A : The scenery is so breathtaking!
    B: It sure is. Look at how the autumn leaves __a___ in the dusk
    a. shimmer b.vacillate c.dazzle d.swagger

    It's wrong. Have you looked up the two words in a dictionary?

    It's not just awkward- it doesn't work at all. How could leaves dazzle when it's dusk?
