"Doctors are having consultation with patients."

This doesn't make sense, right? It should be the other way around, I think. or am I wrong?


Doctors are consulting with patients.
Patients are consulting with doctors.

What about these two? Are they both correct?

Patients are consulting with doctors.

What about these two? Are they both correct?
No, using the present continuous tense doesn't seem warranted.
Patients consult doctors. Patients consult with doctors.
Doctors have consultations with patients. Patients have consultations with doctors.
