PS * On re-reading, I realized that my examples might be thought to suggest that 'What do you make of it?' invites a negative answer. Of course it doesn't.

Upon occasion, you might encounter a wise guy who has seen Airplane! more than once and will respond to "what do you make of this?" like Johnny does at 00:21 in this clip. :roll: Just a warning....it seems I get a similarly jokey response whenever I ask this particular question.
