    Make inferences

    Is my sentence correct?

She makes inferences that her tire got punctured because of the hole on the road, not because of her bad driving habit.

Thank you so much for your reply.

    Re: Make inferences

The reason that her tire got punctured was the result of the hole on the road. She makes infereces that she had a flat tire because of a poor road condition not because of her bad driving habit.

Could you please make my orginal sentence sound proper English?

''She makes inferences that her tire got punctured because of the hole on the road, not because of her bad driving habit''.

    Thank you so much.

    Re: Make inferences

Tne noun 'inference' is not really appropriate here; the verb 'infer' is just about possible, in my opinion, but 'deduce' is better.

    Re: Make inferences

"Figured" or "reckoned" would be more likely in a real conversation.
