    Could you tell me what the inversion is?

    The word inversion comes from the verb to invert, which means, to reverse the normal order or position of. For example, in English the subject and the verb are inverted in questions:

    Statement: She is happy.
    Question: Is she happy? (inversion: She is => Is she)
