    TALK OR SPEAK ??

IS IT GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT IF TOU SAY : TALK TO ME IN ENGLISH.OR IS THE ONLY WAY TO SAY IT USING THE VERB TO SPEAK.ARE THEY INTERCHANGEABLE IN THIS CASE?( THE PURPOSE IS TO MOTIVATE STUDENTS OF A BILINGUAL SCHOOL TO USE ENGLISH INSTEAD OF SPANISH TO IMPROVE THIS LANGUAGE(A SCHOOL WHERE THE MOTHER TONGUE IS SPANISH.)THE IDEA IS TO USE IT IN AN ADVERTISING BUTTON.

I have no issue with either verb here... I would normally say "speak" but it's your choice.

    Re: TALK OR SPEAK ??

    Hi,
Grammatically, both are possible! I don't know the context that you want to use it in but I guess "Talk to ..." sounds better in this sentence.
If you need to know the exact difference between talk and speak let me know to explain it here.
    Regards,
    S.Ghosni

Is it possible to say in telephone English such as "Can I talk to MrX?" instead of "Can I speak to MrX?"

Caps Lock off, please, Moises. There's no need to shout.

Use either verb in this context.

Yes, it is possible, though speak sounds a bit more polite for some reason, and adding please in either case is more polite still.
