It would have been helpful if you had given this information in your first post. The more context we have, the easier it is for us to help.

Pardon me but you are an Englishman if you can't answer this who's gonna make an exact and proper definition?

Song lyrics are not always meaningful and coherent- some make little sense and often songwriters just use words because they sound good. This song is not very clear to me either. There's a lot of death imagery in it, so I suppose bleeding it out is getting rid of what disturbs him.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

(1) Until you receive an answer from Mr. Benington, I would like to pass along

some information.

(2) I guess that you have already read all of the ideas on the Web, but in case

you have not read this one, I am happy to tell you about it.

(3) I googled "bleed it out definition Linkin Park." The first result on the page

is from lyricinterpretations.com. It has a long, scholarly interpretation of the

song, including the words "bleed it out." Of course, it is only one interpretation of

many, but you may find it helpful.

(4) Although I like only pop music of the 1960s, I realize that you young people have

different tastes nowadays.
