If you feel the need to use that, you try forming a sentence and post it here. We can then comment on it.

Hope this helps:

"I made a list of Keyboard shorcuts for my students, some of which they might not know."

Thanks,

Your desire to help is appreciated, Aishwarya, but we generally prefer learners to try for themselves first.

No problem. Welcome to the forum. I hope you get as much pleasure from it as I have done.

Sorry that the first message you received was a rebuke . I do hope I haven't put you off.

Hi leonardoatt,

Let me explain with reference to my sentence : "I made a list of Keyboard shorcuts for my students, some of which they might not know."

Here it means "Students might not know some of the shortcuts"

If am not clear let me know.

Thanks,
Aishwarya

But "some" refers to what?
"I made a list of Keyboard shortcuts for my students, some of which they might not know."

'Some' refers to 'which', which in turn refers to 'shortcuts'
"I made a list of Keyboard shortcuts for my students; some of [the shorcuts] they might not know."
If 'some' referred to 'students', it would have to read, ""I made a list of Keyboard shortcuts for my students, some of whom might not know them."
