Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?
1. Without this machine, I would have had to add each number manually to get the total.
2. The project is coming to (a) sunset.
3. Our annual estimates have revised down as we reduced / have reduced our sales assumptions for the Melbourne subsidiary.
I am confused about the use of tense here. A reduction in sales assumptions has resulted in a revision in annual estimates. Shouldn't we use 'reduced' instead of 'have reduced'?3. Our annual estimates have been revised downward as we reduced / have reduced our sales assumptions (OR projections) for the Melbourne subsidiary.
