Do I enter a foreign country on a valid passport or with a valid passport?

"With" would be proper, but "on" is used also.

I used to work at an airport in an official capacity and we used "He is travelling on a [nationality] passport". If you're talking about validity, then it doesn't really matter.

    I have a valid passport.
I travel on a valid passport.
I entered the country with a valid passport.

Mind you, without a valid passport, you wouldn't be entering any country with an enforced border control.

You need the article so "a valid passport".

Why would you have written "I travel on valid passport"? Guess a misspelling?

OOPS! Yes, that was a typo. I have edited my original comment and added the article.
