"There is a company called ___ established through joint investment from companies in Japan and Sweden."

Is there simpler way to rephrase the underline part? maybe through the use of one of those slick prepositions?

You can't really replace a verb and a preposition with just a preposition. "Established through" could be changed to "formed by" or "created through", but without a verb after the company name, it won't mean the same thing at all.

I think this is the best and shortest way, though you could say:
There is a company called ___ established with the cooperation of two companies from Japan and Sweden.
or you could divide it:
There is a company called ___ and it was established with the cooperation of two companies from Japan and Sweden.
