It doesn't matter if you are Scottish or not. I think the question you want is "Is it free to study at Scottish universities?"

I need more explain explanations please.

    Thanks.

    Re: Scottish people

It is free to study at Scottish universities if you are Scottish or from other parts of the European Union except England.

English students have to pay for tuition.

The legality of this unfair discrimination is currently being challenged in the courts.

Really? I didn't know that! Mind you, if you're Scottish and choose to attend an English uni you have to pay, so I guess it's actually perfectly fair on some levels. I'm not surprised it's being challenged though.

    Re: Scottish people

Scots are entitled to a range of publicly-funded services free of charge including university tuition, long term elderly care and prescriptions, while English families incur fees for the same services.

I have closed this thread because it is politically contentious. I have my views on this issue, but this is not the place to air them.
