    Cool not good enough to you

    Hello!

    We say:

    -You are kind to me. (=towards me)

    -This is rather strange to me. (= in my opinion)

    -This is important for me. (as far as I'm concerned /in my opinion)

    With the phrase "good enough", if we mean "in my opinion", can we say: You are not good enough to me?

    Is it better to say: you are not good enough for me?

    Your latter two examples using "to me" and "for me" each have separate meanings. "Good enough to me" would mean that you are not supporting me financially/physically/emotionally. Whereas, "good enough for me" would mean that you have a higher standard when choosing a partner/friend/associate.
