2) The treaveller, being tired sat under the tree.
3) The treaveller sat tired under the tree
4) Tiredly the treaveller sat under the tree. Which one is correct. please Explain it grammatically. can these sentences above express same meaning.
If you add a comma after "being tired" to #2, then #1 and #2 mean the same thing. It was because she was tired that she sat under a tree.
#3 does not feel grammatical to me.
#4 Explains how the traveler felt. However, it is not necessarily because she was tired that she sat there. Perhaps that's where the tour guide said to sit. Perhaps that's where the bus stop was. #1 and #2 assign "being tired" as the reason. #4 simply says that she was tired.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
