I got many things to list in "For example", what should I do.

    Dear teachers,

I found that Jan and I have some things in common, for example,
she is tall and I am too. She likes Japanese food so much and I like Sushi too. She likes to collect Hello Kitty merchandise and I like Mimmy dolls. She like listening to music and I like playing piano....

What should I do when I got many things to list in "For example".
I am thinking to use "first of all", secondly, thirdly... but these are too common and sound like informal.
Are there any other better ways to make the sentences well organized.

    Thank you.

    Kitty

    Maybe something like this:

I find that Jan and I have many things in common.

For example, she is tall and I am, too. She very much loves Japanese food and

so do I (especially sushi). Furthermore, she collects Hello Kitty merchandise

while I favor Mimmy dolls. Finally, she likes listening to music and I enjoy

    playing the piano.

(The words in bold are something like first, second, third, and fourth.)
