on sale/ on a bit/ enough quantities of all exhibits

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to give me your opinion concerning the correctness of the following three sentences?

There are goods on sale in all the shop windows. You are very slow, why don’t you hurry on a bit? I’m afraid; we don’t have enough time for shopping or the department store doesn’t have enough quantities of all exhibits.

We don't generally say that goods are on sale in shop windows. The shop windows usually have a display of various goods which are on sale in the shop.

In BrE, it's "hurry up [a bit]".

"We don't have enough time for shopping" is fine.

I would prefer something like "the department store doesn't have enough stock of all the items on display." We don't normally call things on display in a shop "exhibits". That's usually reserved for museums, art galleries etc.

    Hi emsr2d2,

Thank you for your modification of the incorrect wordings.

Now I have a clear notion about the essence of a veritable remedial teacher.

    Thank you for your kindness.
