    spoons and ladles

How do you call in English a spoon or a ladle made of wood? For example, the one people can use to stir water or any other kind of liquid?

Is it wooden ladle or wooden spoon possible?

I've never used "wooden ladle". The spoon used for stirring food while it's cooking is a "wooden spoon".

A ladle (to me) is normally made of metal or heat-resistant plastic.
