    "…until otherwise stated"?

"…to be continued until otherwise stated" is a line I read after a client instructed his bank to transfer money certain months. The client simply did not want to repeat the instructions every year. Did the client use correct English?

    Re: "…until otherwise stated"?

    Welcome to the forum, Michael.

It's perfectly understandable, but the standard phrase is '. . .until further notice.'

The collocation is "unless otherwise stated" and means something else.
"Answer all questions with A, B, or C unless otherwise stated."
That is, some questions might require a True/False answer, or a short phrase. Unless the question asks for this, you answer A, B, or C.
