Good afternoon,

I'd like to ask you some help again...and I thank you whoever will help me...
I 'll have to do 5 lessons for teaching English to people who are studying in a Beauty Therapists school. These students are part of the Hairdressing course..
Do you have any suggestions????

Thanks again!!!

Without more information, it is very difficult to offer any suggestions at all. How many will there be in the class? What level are the students? What does the school want them to achieve in just five lessons? is it a block of five lessons, or are they spread out over five, or even ten, weeks? How long is a lesson?

I don't know of any specialist materials for that area, so it may be a question of making them, but texts and suchlike will be easy to come by once you know their level, but that will involve making them yourself, unfortunately. However, you should be able to customise some materials quite easily to do a lesson on handling customers, for instance.

I assume your brief is to give students enough phrases to be able to service an English-speaking customer in Italy with no Italian.
Perhaps you should ask a hairdresser what the most common problems are. Failing that, you should imagine what sort of phrases are necessary.
I think you could safely teach them "I need a hair cut", the words for 'long', 'short' etc.
One way to do it would be to imagine yourself (and your family) going to a hairdresser in a foreign country. What are the types of phrases you'd need to produce and to understand?

PS: If you search on Google for "At the hairdresser" you'll find useful pages like this:

Thanks

I'd imagine your main focus would be on vocab lessons. Customer service language and a decent chunk on describing hair. Maybe some listening exercises on listening to customers requests.
