Arrow Hardest School To Get In(to)

[1] "Harvard is the hardest school to get into."
[2] "Harvard is the hardest school to get in."

[1] is undeniably grammatically correct. What about [2]?

Native speakers say so too. Search for "hardest school to get in" in Google. There are a few results.

I'd advise you to use the grammatical form - 1. Or "get in to"

There are also a few Google results for "hardest school get into". That's no indication of it being right.

Re: Hardest School To Get In(to)

But thank you for giving your thread a meaningful, useful title!
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
