    Question Are these really different?

Hi all (first post - yay)
I recently looked at an assessment online and one of the questions was to choose the correct one out of:

    What time is it?
    What's the time?

To me, they're both the same, but only one was deemed correct.

    Grateful for any clarification

    W

    Welcome to the forum, waflob.

Please make your thread titles more helpful. A great one for this question would have been What time is it? and What's the time?

Thanks for the input. I realise that meaningful thread titles are important and it took ages to get to the one I used - your suggestion was much better. (next time ....)
