Sorry for asking many questions today. If you don't mind, please help me grabbing the meaning of "stay good" in these sentences:
“Killing him won’t bring back our baby. I want you to stay alive, and I want you to stay good.”
Does "stay good" here refer to "well-behave" or "be safe"?
Thanks a million,
Without having read this novel, I"m guess "Continue to be a good person."
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
Thanks, Mr.fivedjon :)
Thanks a lot, Ms.Barb_D :)
