Are these sentences natural? September 28

    Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

    1. What do you think must have been the key points they must have grappled with while working on this issue?

    2. She knows how to inline skate / knows inline skating but does not know how to figure skate.

    3. Just wondering when you would/will be able to send me the file. ( will the choice of would over will change the meaning)

    Thanks,
    MG.

What do you think are ( = were) the key points they must have grappled with when working on this issue?

    2. She knows how to inline skate but does not know how to figure skate.

    3. Just wondering when you'll be able to send me the file. (will the choice of would over will change the meaning - slightly)

'would' implies more uncertainty than 'will' - could also be considered a tad more polite.

    2. She knows how to inline skate / knows inline skating but does not know how to figure skate. Either.

    3. Just wondering when you would/will be able to send me the file. ( will the choice of would over will change the meaning) Slightly in this context: "Would" (possibility - not a firm agreement)/"Will" (probability- firm agreement)

    Thanks,
    MG.

    How about this?

What do you think were the key points they must have grappled with while working on this issue?
