I'm sorry if a similar thread has been discussed.
I've recently seen a video where a few native speakers mentioned the movie 'Bridget Jones' Diary' pronouncing Jones' without the /iz/ syllable at the end of the word.:-?
I've always thought we should pronounce the /iz/ even if we don't add the 's .
my boss' wife = read: bossiz
Charles' son = read: Charlsiz
Do I need to update my grammar knowledge?
