    spin class

What is "spin class" in the following?

Think of it this way: Are you phoning it in at Ordinary Joe's yoga class? Or do you walk out of Extraordinary Joe's spin class glowing with well-being?

    Thank you.

A spin class is an exercise class where you sit on a static bicycle and pedal at different speeds, sometimes with your bottom on the saddle and sometimes not (you usually pedal furiously until you want to die!)

    Re: spin class

The actual exercise itself is called "spinning" but when used as the name of the actual "class" it always seems to be shortened to "spin class".
