    pharasal verbs

    7. WARNING! Although many phrasal verbs can take an object in both places, you must put the object between the verb and the preposition if the object is a pronoun.

I looked it up in the phone book. correct
I looked up it in the phone book. incorrect

My question is:Are all the pronouns included in this?

    For example:
    I gave up you anymore
    I gave up us anymore
    I gave up them anymore
    I gave up yours anymore
    I gave up mine anymore
    I gave up ours anymore
    I gave up this anymore
    I gave up that anymore

    Re: pharasal verbs

The answer to your question is yes, though your examples are all wrong and wouldn't even make sense if you placed the pronoun between the verb and the preposition.

    Some correct examples:

'When I come to Albania I'll look you up.'
'He picked us up at the airport.'
'Are you still smoking? I gave that up last year.'
'Is the match still on? No - they've called it off.'
'Are your boots still on? We've taken ours off.'
