Could anybody tell me the word for the disgusting bad smell of mutton or lamb?
Thanks.

There is no specific word for that. We'd probably just use 'stink'.

Is the meat cooking or decomposing?

If it's cooking, it's a matter of opinion whether it's disgusting or delicious.

People dance, even when they have gout, or - as they say in France - Chaconne à son goût [boum-boum] ;-)
