    bailout

What are the difference(s) between 'government bailouts' and 'public bailouts' if used in the context shown as below?

public bailouts of the financial industry

    Thanks in advance

    Re: bailout

The government spends public money. So there is no difference.

They were bailed out by the public = they were bailed out by the gov't
