Thank you for your reply, sir.

    Then how about this?
    -------------------
Find two pairs of sentences with the word "like" of the same meaning.

I've never seen a puzzle like this before - possibly because of the problem of framing the question. However, if you like the concept, you could give a detailed explanation, and example, to your students once:

Example: Two sentences from the following four use a word in a certain way, and the other two sentences use the same word with a different meaning. In this example, the word is "saw"
    1. I saw a boy
    2. I bought a saw.
    3. A carpenter uses a saw.
    4. The dog saw the man
You must pair the sentences which use the word with similar meanings. In this example, the pairs are (1, 4) and (2, 3) because in 1 and 4, "saw" is a verb, and in 2 and 3, "saw" is a noun. Questions of this type will read: "Match the sentences with the word "word" of similar meaning."

"Match the sentences with the word "like" of similar meaning."
    ⓐBirds like to sing.
ⓑThey can't fly like other birds.
    ⓒElephants like fruit.
    ⓓGiraffes are tall like trees.
