how to use being

Hi,

Please note how the word “being” used in the following sentence

1. It is being processed. – I know why word “being” used in this sentences
2. There being no conflict between P1 EAI and EAI code changes – I am not sure why word “being” used in this sentences. Should it be “There is being no conflicts?”
Please tell me what grammar says for the second one.

No.

If you provided more context. you would see that a main clause follows your clause, as in: There being no conflict between P1 EAI and EAI code changes, it does not matter which is used.

There being = As there is/are. Being
is used as a present participle, not part of a progressive form.

Fivejedjon has correctly explained that
"There being" = "As there is/are."
Being
is used as a present participle, not part of a progressive form.

It may be clearer for you to replace "as" with "because" (because there is/ because there are).
