    believe or believing

The orriginal sentence is "Some people who believe in god say...."

Can we apply reduction for believe and say:

"Some people believing in god say..."

If not are there any reasons?

    Re: believe or believing

    *Not a Teacher*

I hesitate to say that "Some people believing in God..." is wrong, but what I can say as a native speaker is that I would use the original phrase (Some people who believe in God...).
