    syndicate rooms

What does "syndicate" mean in the following?

You will need four syndicate rooms for this exercise. In room 1 will be dreamers who are tasked with generating ideas and passing them to the realists in room 2.

    Thank you.

I had never heard this term (syndicate room) used in AmE, but a quick Google search indicated that these are small meeting rooms. The citations I noted were all for hotels and conference facilities in Great Britain.

    Re: syndicate rooms

Yes, in BrE, syndicate rooms are rooms set aside for small meetings.

Definition 2b of "syndicate (noun)" HERE will help you understand why.
