"The Chongqing Airport is bigger than before."
I think "the" should be deleted , right?
Heathrow Airport is (allegedly!) in London, and the following two statements are possible:
"Heathrow Airport is bigger than it used to be." Here, no "the" is required.
"The London airport is bigger than it used to be." Here, "the" is required. The sentence is ambiguous because there are several airports serving London so the statement would no doubt be followed by the question "Which London airport are you talking about?"
