    These two sentences

These two sentences are right? First one is "even though I knew it'd been raining, I went to the beach," and second one is "even if I knew it'd been raining, I would go to the beach." Now, I'm studying the difference between 'even if and 'even though,' so I tried to make examples to show the diffenrence well, but ,I guess, it is not correct, so if it is not correct, could you make examples to show the difference for me?

    (- -)(_ _)(- -) Thank you!

    Re: These two sentences

Even though I knew it had been raining, I went to the beach
Even if I knew it had been raining, I would go to the beach.

They are different enough. In the first, I went to the beach; in the second, I will hypothetically go.

    Re: These two sentences

Even though could be easily replaced by although, whereas even if is hypothetical, therefore the conditions for you to do or not to do something are/were not there.

Even though it rained I went.
Even if it rained I would go (2nd type if clauses, you are speaking hypothetically)
I hope it helps a little.

    Here's another one to add:

Even if I had known it had been raining, I would still have gone to the beach.
