    Help needed

My dear teacher, could you please let me know which of the following versions of the sentence is correct? I will be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks!

    1. Cu2+ induces citrate efflux from roots being necessary as inhibition of citrate in root cells cytoplasm can lead to accumulation of citrate in root cells.

    2. Cu2+ induces citrate efflux from roots, thus preventing inhibition of citrate in root cells cytoplasm which can lead to accumulation of citrate in root cells.

    3. Cu2+ induces citrate efflux from roots, which prevents inhibition
of citrate in root cells cytoplasm that can lead to its accumulation in root cells.

You don't need an English teacher, you need a chemist!

None of the sentences make it clear what is happening, or why.

Any sentence that has the efflux of something preventing the inhibition of itself thus leading to its accumulation needs rewriting.

    Re: Help needed

It is a complete guess, as I don't really know what the meaning of the sentence is, but I'd suggest:

Cu2+ induces citrate efflux from roots, which prevents the accumulation of citrate in root cell cytoplasm.
