    antonym of "low-lying"

    I'd like to know the antonym of "low-lying".
    Is that "high-lying"?

    I'm looking for a word for land, cities and countries.
    I should have mentioned this. Sorry.
    For example, the Netherlands is a low-lying country.
    I want to know an adjective which has the opposite meaning of "low-lying".
    "Denver is a ADJECTIVE city."

    They call Denver a Mile High City
    Denver is/sits elevated above the sea level.( by approx. 5000ft)
    Denver is a high plateau city.

    I'd say that Denver is a high-altitude city.
