Wouldn't miss it for the world

A: Are you going to watch the game this afternoon? It's a big one.
B: Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Is "Wouldn't miss it for the world" has the same meaning as never miss the game.

    Thanks in advance

Re: Wouldn't miss it for the world

It means that there is nothing that could be offered to make the person miss the game. Not if you gave me $10. Not if you gave me $1 million. Not if you gave me the entire world. I wouldn't miss it for the world.
