    why myself changes a verb

    Why does myself change the tense of the verb in this sentence?
    I myself have never wrote an essay.

    It doesn't.
    "I myself have never wrote an essay." This is an incorrect sentence "wrote" should be "written". Also, "myself" is redundant.
