    Can you say "Turned around"

    Hi,

    "At first she didn't accept the new employee dress code, but after a while she turned around and accepted it"

    Yes, you can say that, it implies anger or annoyance though. Is that the impression you want to give?

    Not really, I want to imply like she learned to accept it

    Another phrasal verb, "gave in", is a common way to express that.
