Hi everyone,

Is That's OK = It's OK ?

Please give some examples of each.

Do I only use "That's okey" when someone apologizes for something or expresses a reaction to something or "It's okey" can also be used?

Thank you!

In my my(little) view both mean the same idea.
A :Can I borrow the book?
B: That's OK.(no problem)

Pronunciation: /əʊˈkeɪ/
(also okay)
informal
exclamation
used to express agreement or acceptance:
OK, I’ll pass on your message
OK, OK, I give in
used to introduce an utterance:
‘OK, let’s go’
Let's wait for our teachers' responses.
Thank you...

I can think of one example where I would use "that's" over "it's":

1: Do you want more cake?
2: That's ok.

In this context, "that's ok" means "no thank you". "It's ok" would not make sense (to me):

1: Do you want more cake?
2: It's ok.
1: It's ok? I know it's ok, you already had 3 pieces!

GoodDay, welcome to Using English.

Please note it's "okay" not "okey."

It's okay -- used to refer to a thing to say it's acceptable. Not great, not terrible.
That's okay - used to refer to a situation that is not causing you trouble.

How do you like the play so far?
It's okay.

How do you like your new job?
It's okay.

I'm sorry I forgot your birthday (The act of forgetting was a situation)
That's okay

I've set up your meeting with Bill for Tuesday. Is that okay?
Yes, that's okay. Great, actually. That gives me time to prepare.
