More context would help. The only thing I can think of, given so little information, is that he is going to his regular card game.

I did not understand. I saw this line when I was seeing a Hollywood movie. In which actor was in car with his girlfriend, being chased by some shooters firing all over the car. Then he told his girlfriend, "I am headed to bridge ". What does it mean exactly?

Are you sure he didn't say "I am headed/heading to the bridge"?

I can't see any other meaning than "They are driving towards the/a bridge". I can't explain why they missed out the article.

That's rather different from what you quoted first. Which is it - and are you sure?

If the speaker was being chased, then who are the 'they'? He might be able to guess where somebody ahead of him is going, but the only place anybody chasing him is going is behind him.

Unless you can come up with full context, I can only conclude that you misheard.

Maybe the character was not a native English speaker and didn't know how to use articles correctly.

Who says the line? Is it the person being chased? Is it the person doing the chasing? Did they say "I am headed to bridge" or "They're headed for bridge"? You have said both of them in the course of this thread.

We are going to need more information if we are going to try to make sense of it.

The persons, who are chasing actors and his girlfriend, talk each other, and one of them says to other " that they're headed for bridge".

It's a waste of time trying to work this out. With every post you change the words or the context.
