I knew that something was wrong? It has to be an adjective not and adverb. Right?:oops:

Right. The RESPONSE is a noun, so it's a prompt reply.

If you want to thank them for the ACTION, you can say "Thank you for replying so promptly."


Look at this as a step forward -- you realized your own mistake!
