    Post Tenses

    Hello!
    1) Could you please confirm how many true English (British) tenses there are.

    2) Could you please confirm we never say "I aren't" only "Aren't I"

    Thank you

    Re: Tenses

    Welcome to the forum, Freedom.

Please start separate threads for completely unrelated questions.

There are only two true verb tenses in English, usually called the Present (Simple) and the Past (Simple).

We do not say "I aren't" in standard British English.
