He is accused of murder. Why not a murder or the murder? Is it for the word murder can be used both as a countable and an uncountable noun and here has been used as a uncountable noun without being definite ?
Is my idea correct? (I have got another question. Would it be, 'is my idea correct?' or 'are my ideas correct?' or both are possible?
Thank you so much.

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
Probably, one idea. As my question required one answer first.
