    crafted

Hi guys I don't know if "crafted" as the meaning as it has for a crafted item (made with skill?)
I thought also crafted- wrote it with skill ?

"What Obama wanted to try out was an honest-togoodness stump speech full of
sweeping national themes, crafted by him"

    Re: crafted

    Simply "created."

Trust me, people "craft" statements all the time without any noticeable skill.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
